Artist Statement

Art making is a creative process that has become for me an experience of prayer.  I am not thinking about what to do as much as I am doing; and in that, it is the spirit connected with Holy Spirit.  I paint with music that influences my direction, worship becomes action in color and line, design and material.  Creating is a process of experiment, challenges, movement, and change; like life, it has surprises.
