Barbie Hunt
Artist, author, and founding director of Healing Rooms Kids.
Hand-painted prayer silks and paintings from a studio on East Center Street. A book of sixty true stories. A ministry that equips children to pray for people, with adults alongside.
New book
The Power of Believing Kids
It started with a nana and kids who wanted to pray. Fifteen years later, it's global.
Welcome
I have made things with my hands for more than forty years — pots, paintings, and silk. For the last fifteen, I have also spent my Tuesdays praying alongside children. The two come from the same place: a daily rhythm of showing up, paying attention, and expecting God to be kind.
This is where all of it lives now — the studio, the book, and Healing Rooms Kids. Have a look around, and if something here speaks to you, write to me. I read everything myself.

The studio
Next door to Main Street Prayer Center. Some people just call, and that works too.
